What is checked before a crate is closed.
Inspection follows the order. The usual checks are dimensions, thickness, flatness, finish and visible damage. Monument pieces that belong to one set are compared with each other. Cladding that must run in sequence is numbered to the drawing.
Test reports are supplied when the order asks for them.
If a piece does not match the agreed sample range or the drawing, it is recut or replaced before packing.
